Description

Bam Bam's ideal home

Bam Bam is an energetic and playful 1-and-a-half-year-old Bulldog who is looking for a forever home alongside his brother, Bentley. These two are a bonded pair, and Bam Bam’s lively nature provides the perfect complement to Bentley’s calmer nature. Bam Bam thrives in a home with children aged 12 years or older (younger children may be considered for the right home) who can enjoy his enthusiasm and handle his bouncy personality. A private garden is preferred for Bam Bam to safely burn off energy while he continues to develop his social skills.
Bam Bam should be kept on a lead in public until he has improved his socialisation and recall. Visitors should be kept to a minimum initially, and Bam Bam should not greet them at the entrance to the property, as he does best with calm introductions. Even though he and Bentley have previously been left, leaving hours will need to be built up gradually again in his new home.

Could you be Bam Bam's perfect match?

If you are looking for a fun-loving and affectionate companion, Bam Bam will be your perfect match. He adores running around in the compounds, playing with toys, and generally making the most of life. Bam Bam’s exuberance extends to cuddle time, he loves to push in for fuss and will even jump up to demand more attention. His excitement means he might be able to knock someone over, but his good-natured personality is sure to bring smiles to everyone he meets.
Bam Bam is eager to please and will offer a "sit" for treats, although his enthusiasm sometimes leads to snatching or jumping up. He loves sharing playtime with Bentley, though he can be a little pushy when it comes to getting the first fuss or toy. Despite this, Bam Bam is perfectly happy for Bentley to join in and share the fun.
If you feel you can offer Bam Bam and Bentley the loving, active home they deserve, please apply today. Successful applicants will meet them at the centre within 48 hours.

Bulldog Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
